A Fergus man has been charged in connection with a frightening incident here earlier this week.
On May 20 at about 12am, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of a man with a knife trying to enter a car being operated by a female driver on Tower Street at Belsyde Avenue in Fergus.
Police say the officers “arrived within moments” and arrested the man.
Mitchell Horne, 26, of Fergus, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose. He is to appear in Guelph court on June 26.
